Špenát setý Sacramento F1 je pozdní hybridní odrůda se středně zelenými, mírně bublinatými listy, vysoce výnosná a výrazně rezistentní k vybíhání do květu, pro letní i podzimní pěstování.
Nejvhodnější pro pěstování jsou hlinitopísčité, dostatečně vododržné půdy s pH 6 – 7,5. Nesnáší suché a kyselé půdy a větrné polohy. Jarní kulturu z březnových výsevů sklízíme 5 – 6 týdnů po výsevu. Jako následnou plodinu ze srpnových výsevů sklízíme v září až v říjnu. Pro přezimování a ranou jarní sklizeň vyséváme v září. Vegetační doba je u jarní kultury 52 dní, u podzimní 65 dní, u zimní 240 dní. Ze 100 m2 lze sklidit z jarní sklizně 200 kg, z podzimní 180 kg, ze zimního pěstování 240 – 250 kg listové
